01About

Backend first, but never only

I'm a full stack engineer with 2+ years of full-time experience building scalable, cloud-native applications — and a bias toward the backend. Front-end work is familiar territory, but the thrill is in architecting the core systems that make a seamless experience possible in the first place.

Most of my day is Django, Python and React/Next.js: production REST APIs, asynchronous pipelines on Celery and Redis, and event-driven workflows that keep long jobs off the request path. I've shipped across AWS, GCP and Azure.

I hold an M.Eng in Software Engineering from Concordia University in Montréal. Outside client work I build things that push on distributed systems, real-time transport and payments.
